On The Roof......
The best place to park your helicopter really isn't on the roof but it works at the hospital. They do have a ground area to land if it is too windy to land there. I assume the elevator takes them down the main floor for emergency care.

A shot through a large window creates an unusual yet usual effect. The Iowa State Capital has new gold leaf on its dome.

Stairsway to the Top....
The stairway view is amazing. It is designed to make a dramatic entry to the east side of the hospital.
A wonderful sclupture hangs down the middle of the stair well as it goes up three or four flights.

Great Specimen
The variegated red twig is doing well this year. The rains of little amount still did revive it from its winter slumber. The bush was planted there in memory of our border collie, Barney, who we lost in February of 2019. The next season we planted it as a memory garden along with its own solar night light. Flowers will be added around it as the season progresses.

Teddy's legs are a little short for this big wheel but he still likes sitting on it. These shots were buried in my files and this one...

Iowa wild rose is the state flower. I keep finding evidence of our hard freeze on different plants as they mature. The freeze messed up...
